HCG Diet Plan
The HCG Diet has a few different versions of a diet plan. Some diet plans are from the original Dr. Simeons 500 calorie per day diet plan. This plan goes far back to the 1950s and is a bit outdated. Yet, many people still follow this diet plan and achieve success. If you can manage 500 calories per day, have at it. Other clinics use a modern approach to the HCG Diet with an 800-calorie protocol that was created by Sonia Russell, LPN. This approach is a very effective approach and is easier to follow due to the extra calories it allows. There have been many changes since the 1950’s when the old diet plan was created, and new research has been made available since those times. Foods are processed differently today and evolution in the human body has occurred. We are bigger, faster, and stronger than 70 years ago, we need more fuel and calories! This diet plan is very high in protein and allows certain vegetables and fruits.

At HCG Diet Miami or with HCG Near Me, you follow an HCG Diet Plan that is very similar to the 800-calorie diet plan, but with one change. HCG Near Me created an HCG specific calorie calculator that will give each person their own caloric requirement based on Body Mass Index and Body Metabolic Rate. This method is fantastic and steers away from the cookie cutter method of telling everyone to eat the same number of calories. It’s a bit irresponsible to ignore factors such as age, height, weight, and sex when prescribing a daily caloric requirement for weight loss purposes.
Patients at HCG Diet Miami use the HCG calorie calculator to calculate their daily allowance, then they make small adjustments to the 800-calorie diet by either adding or subtracting calories from it. For example, for a 6’5 38-year-old male weighting 250lbs, his recommended calorie per day is about 1,100 calories per day. He would follow the rules and phases from the 800-calorie diet but add an additional 300 calories per day and spread them evenly between breakfast and lunch. For dinner you stick to a 200 to 300 calorie meal. Give the HCG Diet Calorie Calculator a try here: https://hcgnearme.com/hcg-calorie-calculator/

This plan has 4 phases. Phase 1 is the first two days and you get to load and eat anything you like. It’s recommended you don’t go sugar crazy on these two days and look for mainly fatty foods. This phase is called the loading phase. You do give yourself your hcg injections on these two days.
Phase 2 is basically your low-calorie days and you must stick to the allowed foods on the protein, vegetable, and fruit lists. Stay away from all fats during this phase!
Phase 3 will begin when you are completely done with all your injections. In this phase you will take about 3 to 4 weeks to slowly increase your daily calories back up to a normal number. If a person is eating 800 calories per day during phase 2 and needs to get back to a normal number of about 2,000 calories per day, he or she needs to increase 300 calories per week for 4 weeks to arrive at 2,000 calories per day. This is done gradually week by week rather than one day from the next. The gradual increase helps your body and metabolism accept your new body weight.
