Healthy Diet Plan…

Had a nice email come in from James that I want to share:

 

Keep the emails coming. I lost 35+ pounds on HCG and have kept it off for 18 months. Oh, I fluctuate a pound or two if I’ve had a big wine weekend. Your emails help me to remember how I got where I am and encourage me to maintain.

 

A few points I want to highlight.

 

First of all,… a lot of people think getting healthy means you have to be disciplined all the time. You think if you get healthy, you’ll never be able to eat what you love ever again.

The key is to know your limit.

After a round of HCG, when you’ve lost 20-30 lbs, you can still eat delicious foods. You just can’t all the time.

 

Which is great news for a few reasons. First, the longer you go without something… the better it tastes. I’m sure you’ve had times you’ve gorged yourself on something so often that it doesn’t taste good anymore.

 

You might have certain foods less… but you’ll enjoy them a lot more when you do.

 

Second, don’t forget about the real point in getting healthy: you feel awesome! When you have more energy, more “happiness hormones” and genuine compliments coming your way… when you love the way you look in the mirror… that’s awesome.

 

It’s more satisfying than a sugar binge could ever be.

You don’t need to be as disciplined as a Buddhist monk. But you do need to learn how to say “no” every now and then.
